It has come to our attention that the Certas Energy Ltd name is being used in an ongoing recruitment scam. Individuals have been sent email messages from various addresses, supposedly from Certas Energy Ltd, offering career opportunities. We understand that the individuals have been sent application forms which ask for personal details (including bank details) and in some cases, the individuals have then been offered a job.
Please be advised that these emails are not connected with Certas Energy Retail Europe, Certas Energy Ltd or the DCC Group in any way.
If you receive an unsolicited recruitment email from any email address that does not end in “certasenergyretail.ie” or “certasenergyretail.fr” or “certasretail.no” it should be disregarded immediately.
Generally speaking, to avoid recruitment scams:
- Do not reply to unsolicited emails that come from a Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo account, or use a domain name that is similar (but not equal) to ours
- Do not disclose any personal or financial information such as bank details, credit/debit card details, immigration status or your address
- You should NEVER send any money, even if you are told that this money will be refunded to you at a later date. Certas Energy Retail Europe would never ask you for money or to make any sort of payment during the job recruitment process.
